Dr. Perrie O’Tierney-Ginn

Dr. Perrie O’Tierney-Ginn studied at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. She is a Research Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts University, the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). She also serves as the Executive Director of the Mother Infant Research Institute at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

A true Canadian, Perrie enjoys Tim Horton’s coffee, doughnuts, and watching just about any sporting event conducted on ice. When not in the lab, you may find her hanging out with her family (including a sassy 4th grader and two needy cats). Her “happy places” are museums (especially anatomy museums), libraries, nature preserves, and any theatre showing a Star Wars movie (preferably Episodes IV-VIII).
